Shu is a stylish 2.5D platformer set in a beautiful and engrossing world. Guide Shu and a cast of beautifully hand-drawn characters as they run, jump and glide their way across exotic lands, forever pursued by the monstrous and unrelenting Storm.
Shu was one of the first games I worked on, back in 2015. Built in Unity, I joined as a gameplay programmer — responsible for Shu’s movement, environment interactions, animations, and the storm chase sequences. My favourite memory from the project was the whole team competing to set the fastest developer storm chase times, which players would then have to beat.
