Shadow Point is a story-driven puzzle game set between a mountaintop observatory and an ever-changing fantasy world. Shadow Point was our first Quest game and a Quest launch title. Built in Unity, this one holds a special place in my heart. I started out as a programmer working on the shadow puzzle mechanics, player placement assist, and the dimensional item-swapping mechanic — but eventually stepped up to lead the programming team after our existing lead moved onto another project. I guided the team through the final year of development, including the considerable challenge of getting portals and mirrors running at frame rate on Quest. Nominated for Best VR Game at the VR Awards 2019 — I’ll let that speak for itself.
